Anton integrated a fix for the last 5.5 regression we were aware of today, 
tests are green (the Qt 4.8 OSX test failure on the CI is a setup issue on the 
CI machine that should not affect normal sessions), manual smoke tests also 
look fine. So I think we are good to go :)

I've updated the changelog, feel free to review if I forgot something.
